Laboratory Technician Trainer: Geotechnical

We currently have full-time vacancy for a highly motivated workplace Trainer/Assessor to drive our expansion in the construction materials testing sector.

Reporting to three directors, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Delivery and assessment of units of competency from the Laboratory Operations Training Package PML04;
• Ensuring compliance with AQTF requirements and relevant legislation and company policies;
• Attendance at required team meetings and professional development activities;
• Additional duties as required.

Essentials

• Extensive experience and NATA signatory status in a CMT laboratory environment;
• Laboratory Operations Diploma qualification or higher, or equivalent experience;
• Able to deliver and assess learners in a range of state-wide laboratory locations;
• Self motivated with a high level of interpersonal, communication and time-management skills;
• Demonstrated ability in working co-operatively and effectively as a member of a team;
• Sensitivity to learners from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds;
• Demonstrated computing skills;
• Driver's licence and own motor vehicle.

Desirable

• Possession of, or commitment to complete, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) or Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (BSZ40198)
