There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however we do recommend at least 5 years of experience within the building and construction industry as this is a minimum requirement to apply for the Builder’s Registration.
As part of the enrolment process, LTT will conduct a pre-training review to capture your current competencies including language, literacy and numeracy.
This ensures that you are making an informed decision about the suitability and relevance of the course you are planning on undertaking.
This process also aids in identifying any support service that may be required.

Assessment will include questions to confirm underpinning knowledge as well as a combination of practical assessment tasks, observation of performance, case studies, scenarios and workplace projects.
You will be required to undertake self-study with the material provided to you and carry out necessary research in your own time.
The Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) is available for eligible fee paying students under the VET Student Loan arrangement.
