To undertake workplace training, students must be employed in a relevant industry and have the support of their supervisor.

As part of the enrolment process, comprehensive pre-training reviews are conducted to capture current competencies including language, literacy and numeracy. This process ensures an informed decision is made regarding the suitability and relevance of the intended course of study. This process also aids in identifying individual learning styles and any support services that may be required so that training delivery can be tailored accordingly.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Assessments include practical tasks and questions to test underpinning knowledge. Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available for eligible students.

Workplace training delivery includes mentoring by our trainer, skills development during workplace duties, and directional guidance for self-study.

Workplace students who complete this course may undertake further study in the MSL60116 Advanced Diploma of Laboratory Operations.
