The nationally recognised MSL40118 Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques is delivered by LTT Group (RTO 51621).

In addition to the material from the certificate III, this course builds technical ability in the use of laboratory application software, maintaining and controlling stock, performing chemical tests and more. The qualification is designed to provide in-depth insight into the industry and focuses on promoting methodological competence, so students graduate ready to start a laboratory career.

The course is delivered at 25 Colray Avenue, Osborne Park WA 6017 over 24 weeks. 

Classes are held 9am-4pm, Mondays and Tuesdays. Classes are occasionally held on Wednesdays due to public holidays.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available for eligible students.

Note: No Government Funding is available for Training Centre delivery. 

Fee for students ineligible for government support

The following fee includes a $500 non-refundable enrolment deposit, which is payable upfront and deducted from the total fee. Direct debit payment plans are then available to spread the remainder of payments over the duration of the course.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available for eligible students.

As part of the enrolment process, a comprehensive pre-training review is conducted to capture current competencies including language, literacy and numeracy. This process also aids in identifying individual learning styles and any support services that may be required so that training delivery can be tailored accordingly.
